the old ice time thing again huh?
its misleading. He does not play the PK, and there was 12 minutes lost there last game when he got ten minutes.
Add in the 4 on 4 in which he did play, and we are talking about rolling lines for 46 minutes last game.
He had a little over 8 minutes of that 5 on 5 time. In a game where they were chasing the lead , AV went with his Top 6. But even most teams, the 1st line and 2nd line guys play more than the 3rd all over the league.
The Sun, I think the article was in, that said that, in the last 19 minutes of the Canes game, Cody was on for a little over 5 minutes of that time.
His coach trusts him Branden. He gets him on when he can. I have seen the same thing work for Burrows, Kesler, Edler, Bieksa, and result in career years for one and all.
Just for fun, I have the over for the Hodgson Ice Time Line….you can set it to be fair. I would suggest 11.5 minutes, and STILL take the over.

I’m thinking he’s playing less that 12.5 mins today. Obviously after reading my comment you assumed that I don’t know about why he has low minutes. I was just stating the fact that I hope he can score two goals and be the first star, it’s tough to do that when you have 9:45 EV TOI.

I was more putting the info out there for the Hodgson masses. I do think AV tries to play him more. That 5+ in the last 19 in a behind game was telling.
I thought he was averaging around 13 minutes overall. Meh.
Tonight, seeing as how you set the line at 12.5 ( devious that, going over mine…lol ), I’ll still take the over on TOI. I see the second unit PP being pretty great with a few Silent G snipes. The boys will be looking for the Franchise in his first game in his hometown too.
