Current Canucks Continuing Assault On Team's All Time Records

I try to do this once every season. Keep in mind that these stats are regular season stats only. Daniel Sedin recently passed Pavel Bure in the all-time goal-scoring department. Dank is also about to pass Trevor Linden in the all-time assists category.  Henrik obviously own that stat by a landslide. Another interesting milestone to keep an eye on : Alain Vigneault only needs 4 more victories to become the Canucks' winningest head coach.

Enjoy!

More records at Wikipedia, including playoff stats. Those stats are only updated to the end of last season. So I had to do a little bit of math and hopefully didn't screw up.

Nice. I thought it was going to be some sort of alliteration after I read the first 3 words.

You would think Burrows would be able to catch Linden in short handed goals but correct me if I’m wrong but we don’t even have a single SHG yet this season.

by marcness52 on Nov 9, 2011 8:20 PM PST reply actions

Yeah

And only had 6 last year in total

When the Sedins are finally done in Vancouver

they’ll be the undisputed greatest players in team history. I mean statistically anyways, I think it’s pretty obvious already that they’re the greatest players we’ve ever had.

Another thought, old man Sedins will be so weird. Maybe 30 years from now we’ll be cruising with them up to Alaska. I can’t imagine what they’ll look like without the red hair….greybeards would just be wrong.

This year.

Goaltender is a normal job. Sure. How would you like it if at your job, every time you made the slightest mistake a little red light went on over your head and 18,000 people stood up and screamed at you? - Jacques Plante

ahahahaha

Daniel let the hair get a bit unkempt, eh?

those were their actual beards / hair 2 seasons ago I believe. Minus the color obviously :)

All glory to the Sedin's

But Pavel’s 254 goals in 428 games is AMAZING. What a talent that guy was…

Sami Salo's overtime goals

Fun with Hockey Reference

Guess who’s tied for 9th all-time on Columbus’s goals list, 7th on the assist list, 6th on the point list and 5th on the games played list?
