Mason Raymond will not crack the #Canucks line up tonight according to Coach AV.

CKNW. I guess we'll be seeing Burrows play tonight then. He participated in an optional skate today along with MayRay.
Just to put this out there: Why not put Raymond on the 4th line in place of Weise or Volpatti? I'll take MayRay over a pylon.

Can you picture MayRay in a fight?

Poor guy would get ragdolled into oblivion. Weise and Volpatti are capable scrappers, at least.

Who cares about fighting?

Volpatti is useless when he’s not fighting, and he doesn’t even fight that much

"Playin hurt, baby that don't faze me. I don't got time for pain. The only pain I've got time for is the pain I put on fools who don't know what time it is!"

Exactly. Not like there’s alot of Canucks fights anyways. Maybe tonight there will be. Hello Boll.

Using a light / speedy guy who just came off a spine / back injury on the physical hard hitting 4th line doesn’t seem logical to me.

a ginger ball hockey player... no wonder I'm a Canucks fan

It does if the player has been taking contact in drills for over a week and pronounces himself good to go

AV needs to put someone out there when the other guys ice their goons.

Weise is even for +/- in 23 games and Volpatti is only -3 in 21. That’s really not bad considering their main goal is to just not get scored on.

Weise fights but I wouldn’t call him capable. Has he won a fight yet?

I suppose

‘If it aint broke, don’t fix it’ is the reason.

But I am looking forward to having Raymond in the line-up, no matter who he replaces.
