Ales Hemsky is having an MRI on his shoulder on Saturday. He injured it...wait for it...while dumping a puck into the opposing zone. Wow.
Daniel-Henrik-Burrows...and I have no idea what AV does after that.
Hansen-Hodgson-Higgins (please oh please oh please Santa!)
You have to think that Alain Vigneault is going to ice a few goons as the Oilers are a bunch of thugs in their bottom 6. The Oilers are averaging over 21:00 in penalties in their first 2 games.
The Oilers have only played once since Sunday, a 2-1 SO loss to the Wild on Thursday.
This one is going to be better than the Red Wings game. It's going to be way more physical and violent. Plus, the Canucks are finally going to manage to score the first goal of the game and take this one.
HE SAID IT:
"I liked them a little bit when it was Naslund, Bertuzzi and Morrison playing together and stuff, but for the most part I never really was a big fan."
"I didn't really have one favourite team. I liked Ottawa quite a bit and when I was younger I liked Anaheim, San Jose and those kind of teams. I was more of a player kind of guy."
-Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. That's ok, Ryan, you may have lousy taste, but I'm looking forward to watching you, Hall and Eberle play on a line in this one.
Blast from the past: FIIIIGHT! 2008:
So true (I know, I'm immature for posting it):
