too many players these days seem to do this type of thing. Breaking a stick in frustration. Hockey is a game of frustration. You have to get used to it. Keep doing the right things and eventually you will get your results. I would bench any player that broke a stick in frustration. I mean imagine the worst case scenario? You go to try to break your stick and hit a player with it? You could cause some serious damage.

Yep, it’s an emotional game sometimes, especially at the highest levels.
I firmly believe that someone’s true character is shown when things are not going well, as everything is always smiles when things are going well. Do you get angry and lose focus? Or stay calm and collected?

And yet in the article he says that his practice sticks would make his shot less accurate in the heat of the game. I wonder if he still grabs a practice stick every once in a while to change things up.
