"If the playoffs come tomorrow, are we ready for it?," asked Samuelsson, who has eight goals and is on pace for just 17 compared to a career-high 30 last season. "I don't know. If you ask guys around the lockerroom if they feel good about themselves, it's maybe half the team. We have to improve as a team like that. We have to believe in each other and to know what to do in all situations. That's how I look at. We've been winning a lot of games, but have we been improving as a team? That's what we've got to ask ourselves."
Rather than focus on his personal scoring struggles of late, or the injuries that are nagging him, Son of Sam "calls out" the team. Whatever works. I like his attitude.
