My trip to Vancouver is just about here! As of post time, i'm a little less than 17 hours away from boarding my flight to Vancouver from San Jose, not so coincidentally the Canucks' opponent on Thursday. I'm trying to see who would be interested in meeting up for drinks Thursday night before or after the game.

My first attempt at arranging an impromptu meetup for tomorrow night or Thursday night fell flat. I'm hoping that this renewed attempt much closer to the dates in question works better. I should be settled into my temporary place by 5pm and Downtown by 6pm Wednesday (and probably starving) so if anyone is free tomorrow night for dinner downtown, that works for me as well.

My attendance at Thursday's game is still up in the air. I'm working hard on acquiring a ticket so my plans are mostly concerned with tearing it up after the Canucks stomp the Sharks. In case I am unable to get a ticket, I think it'd be pretty fun for a group to get together at a bar and/or restaurant before/during/after the game.

I don't have any specific places in mind, so thats where y'all come in. I am up for anything. Any genre of bar, any type of food, just so long as they allow a guy from California who is a HUGE Canucks fan in. Who wants to meet up?
