NHL All Star Selections

Some surprises here:

1. No Zetterberg - Look at what he did to the Canucks in their last 2 head to heads - he owned the puck and made it his bitch.

2. Only 1 Western Conference Goalie - Not surprising to see the likes of Thomas, Price based on their body of work.  But I would have put some votes toward Jimmy Howard out West.  Even Luongo.  Hiller was a good choice.  And Ward is there to appease the hometown crowd.

3. Good Yound Oilers only in Skills Competition - would have put Eberle in ahead of Hemsky for Oiler representation in the game.  Hemsky is good when healthy, but the NHL is missing a chance to showcase some of the young talent in the game.

4.  Grabner is a Rookie - who knew?
