As a follow up to Sean's post, I came across the depth chart with forwards and defensive pairings on CDC today.

James Henry - Alex Freisen - Kellan Tochkin
Pierre-Olivier Morin - Prab Rai - Dan Gendur
Aaron Volpatti - Stefan Schneider - Steven Anthony
Bill Sweatt - Jordan Schroeder - Tayler Jordan
Brad Smith
Yann Sauve* - Taylor Ellington
Kevin Connauton - Evan Oberg
Adam Polasek - Sawyer Hannay

*With Yann Sauve's motor vehicle accident, Ellington may have a new partner in Penticton.

These are just lines for training camp. It’s not a depth chart and it doesn’t indicate how many minutes each line will play.

Interesting. Whats the deal with Prab Rai? Third line? Every time I see him play Kelowna hes by far the best player on Seattle that game.
Not a strong team, though.
That being said, I really like how much he stepped up for them last year. Easily their best player, but also willing to take responsibility for being ‘the man’.
I can’t say enough how happy I am with Vancouver’s depth right now. The present is looking good, and so is the future.
Sweatt and Schroeder?
I hope that other dude is fast!!

Heh.
Jordan is officially on the clock…
I do enjoy looking at this list, then going over to Cap Geek and seeing which contracts are expiring when. Going to be an interesting few years!
I still think if we think
that Hodgson and Schroeder have a shot at this team then so does Sweatt. He was a second round pick who skates at the NHL level already and had 4 years to mature as a man physically in university. If NFL players come out of US schools ready to play in the NFL after 1 or 2 years a guy with 4 years under his belt should be ready physically for the NHL as well.

It’s more about doing it all on skates: anyone can run, after all! 8)
If Sweatt earns the spot, great! Camp’s looking nice and deep, and Manitoba should have some pretty good skill on it this year, especially with the owners happy to put money in the AHL with those 1-way contracts.
Gah. The start of the season is too far away, damn it!
Well…he is older too.
Only 5’8"…but 194 lbs?
Pretty solid. Maybe he projects as a Mike Weaver type ( always liked him…)
Though, check the scoring…pretty good too.
