Matt Pettinger Continues Career In Germany
No more shuffling back and forth between NHL and AHL teams for Pettinger who has signed a 1 year deal with the Cologne Sharks of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL, or German Hockey League). The 29 year old checker played 29 regular season games in 2 different seasons with the Canucks, scoring 5 goals and 4 assists. The DEL is happy to have him. Best of luck over there Pettinger, and thanks for filling in here when needed.

Petting Zoo
was a decent third liner. Good luck to the man.

Good luck Pettinger! Always a solid guy to plug into the lineup. Glad his journeyman career included a stop with his hometown (well, home province) team. That must’ve been a pretty huge career highlight for him.
