Malhotra Not A Lock To Play 3rd Line Center

PrintManny Malhotra is a versatile player. If he is needed to play wing he will do so, as the latest Reid Report suggests. In fact, both Mike Gillis and Alain Vigneault told Manny that they would expect veratility from him when they signed him. This perhaps answers the question of who will play center if Cody Hodgson makes the team, or if Gillis signs another centerman.

So after i watched the malhotra report i watched the 1 on 1 with Jannick hansen…he totally sounds like michael cera when he talks.

Malhotra though I think is great on faceoffs, so my guess is that MM goes to center or he takes draws then goes to wing a la Zetterberg (when he’s with Filppula or Datsyuk).
