Cody Hodgson 2009-10 Highlights
Take a gander at these plays by CoHo. Some serious sweet plays here. The only one that's missing is him walking keeled over with an ailing back. In all seriousness though, watch how he carries the puck out of the corner and circles towards the net. Who does that remind you of? (Hint: a Canuck from recent past).

Love his vision
and his tenacity with the puck, it’s like it’s glued to his stick! Breathe…
Me like… hopefully he can make the jump and rise to the challenge and all those cliches and whatnot

Zing!
If he starts putting it in the net like Naslund did, I’ll be one happy little fan.
Little known fact.
Krutov, by the way, is Russian for ‘Wellwood’

The thing that excites me most about Hodgson
is how he shoots the puck. It never looks like he is putting any effort into his shot and yet it comes off his stick like a rocket. He is going to catch a lot of goalies by surprise in his career with that wrister.

Sigh. This just reminds me of how much I’ve always wished Joe Sakic came home to Vancouver for part of his career.

I've always been skeptical...
But this vid has helped me hope that his size and speed will not be an issue. I just wish he was 2" taller with 15 more pounds…
Dangles
at 1:15, 2:25 and the last goal. Pure dangles, they be slick. Looks like Nazzy, looking forward to seeing him play for us…knock on wood.

Soylent Green
To complete his legacy with the Battalion, Cody should do something about those uni’s. My god.
I thought there was no “g” pronounced in his last name. The announcers keep calling him “Hojson”. Isn’t it pronounced Hodson?
And Bieksa isn’t pronounced Bieska, and Luongo ain’t Lulongo. Announcers can be dumb.

Some of those moves are going to be harder to do against NHL defencemen; but I’m in love with his release! I also like that he’s being used on the PK. These things combined makes me think starting him off on the third line is going to be the best option this year. Playing him against opponent’s third pairing sounds good!
