First: full disclosure, this was mentioned by he who shall not be named, so basically consider this just a big giant rosterbation on my part.  But consider this scenario:

1. Salo decide's enough is enough with his injury and decides to retire.  Predicting a retirement is allowed when rosterbating, so deal with it.

2. Burke drafted Bieksa, Burke loves former Burke players, and loves truculence.

3. Canucks - Salo - Bieksa + Kaberle = $3 million less cap hit, so it would fit.

Would we want that?  Bieksa (who has 1 year left) + a draft pick or prospect (and throw in Hordichuck for free! for 1 year of Kaberle?

Any thoughts?
