I decided to just make a bigger thread to cover both Saturday and Sunday.  Besides, it's the middle of summer, it's a weekend, it's beautiful outside, and there's going to be almost no hockey news until Monday.  (If there is any, I'll add links at the bottom.)

By the way, for the little contest we had in yesterday's Ice (funniest joke about Salo's injury proneness), there were some pretty good ideas.  One of the random ones was Snepsish listing all of Sami's injuries over the last decade.  There were also a few that were already just generic jokes where you just insert the name of the person (looking at you, Sean and Chuckles).  However, here's the gem by Timezone_Hater that I believe dominated the competition:

On January 1st 2000, Ottawa was hit by a magnitude 5.2 earthquake. The only damage reported was an overturned lawn chair and a Sami Salo broken leg.

You guys are a funny bunch.  Unfortunately, as you probably realize, there's no prizes.
