Sometimes It's In The Cards

Just a quick follow up I wanted to share from the first round of the 2010 playoffs. If you recall, we did our little drinking for humanity promotion at the time and promised $25 a win to be sent to the Lange Foundation. So we kicked off our money after Chicago bumped us off and went about our lives.

I got a thank you card from them in the mail yesterday. Because my scanner is terrible, I can only show part of the thank you letter, but here it is:

They also included a pamphlet on their organization which I briefly skimmed through. Though a certain name caught my eye which I highlighted below:

If you didn't know, Tom Morello is the guitarist best known for his work with Rage Against The Machine who it just so happens was our lyrical theme for all the Canucks/Kings posts and gamethreads in the first round.

Now maybe it isn't that Tom Morello on their board, but I don't care

Update: It IS that Tom Morello (h/t Twitchy2010). It puts a nice little nightcap on our efforts during the first round. Beauty.
