Only 2 of the previous 31 teams that have been down 2-0 to start a Finals series have come back to win the Cup. The odds are stacked against Philadelphia. But if they are to draw something positive here, they can take consolation in the fact that they have been in both games in this series and only lost by 1 goal in each.
They need to score first at home and take control of the game. Game 1 was mostly a wash because of it's insanity. Game 2 was tight the way they like it, but they hit a post and crossbar in period 1 and then couldn't solve Antii Niemi enough, and then allowing 2 goal in 28 seconds. Why aren't they shooting higher on him? He'll stop everything along the ice. We've seen that over and over again. Expect more pressure on Niemi by the Flyers tonight. Coach Laviolette mentioned that yesterday.
The Hawks are getting the bounces still and have won 7 games in a row. They bury their golden chances when given them. The Hawks lost 3 straight games only twice this season. They have not lost 4 in a row.
This is a win or your doomed game for Philly. No way they pull off a 3-0 comeback against a team like Chicago.
