Eller is a former first round pick (2007 13th overall) and is a centre expected to contribute this season. He was named to the AHL All-Rookie team for 2009-10. Schultz is a winger with size and a third round pick (2008 87th overall), who had a solid senior year in Calgary (WHL) and is expected to report to Hamilton for this upcoming season.
Halak is, of course, well known for his stellar play for Slovakia in the Olympics and his heroics in this year's playoffs for the Montreal Canadiens.
