"Vancouver is one of those cities that you look at," said Hamhuis, who finished a three-year deal that paid him $2.5 million last season with a $2 million cap hit. "There's certainly pluses and minuses in playing in a market like that – especially after playing in one like Nashville where you do remain quite anonymous and that's a nice way to live, too. So that's one thing we'll miss about Nashville, but at the same time it's exciting to play in front of a crowd that lives for hockey and in a sold-out building every night. There's benefits and negatives to everything and if we go to free agency we'll have to weigh those things out."
