That from Jeff Marek on Twitter. Mellanby was a special consultant to Mike Gillis and the Canucks' hockey operations department. He played for the Blues from 2000 to 2004. *edit* I should add that Mellanby will remain with the Canucks until mid-July before moving on, you know, past the draft and free agency season.
