What they don't show...
“Jeeze, Pete! I told you four times that it was light beer!”
“Did you? Gee, I must have forgotten! Again! Well, I guess it’s time to pay up, right? Huh? Right?”
Y’know, maybe they’re implying that he’s trying to get the taste of light beer out of his mouth? I wouldn’t make him pay and I wouldn’t care if I won the bet, it’s not like I’m in prison.
