There's the regular season comparisons for something to ponder. Of course, the playoffs are a new ball game, and many times the regular season stats can be damned. I'm not going to say much more except:
- I love hockey. I really love playoff hockey. I can't wait to see the towels waving, the atmosphere, the panic, the heart failure, the screaming and yelling, the jumping up and down with glee, the alcohol spillage...
- The Score Predicting Wizards list is still in full effect. For those of you who are new here, I'll give you a quick rundown on how to get points. You get nothing if you only guess which team wins. You get 1 point for the correct score, 1 point if you predict the correct game winning goal scorer. You can get 2 points if you correctly guess the correct score and winning team. You'll earn 3 points if you guess the correct score, team and GWG scorer. It's not as easy as it seems. The current leaderboard is on the lower left sidebar on the main page.
-GO CANUCKS GO!! Enjoy the game, everyone! Yankee will have a game thread up about an hour before game time.
-Yankee also has great previews of the Kings' offence and defence and goaltending in case you missed them. Know your enemy! Fight the war fuck the norm!

Paper mill.
2 days, 2 nights, 4 off. 12 hour shifts.

Small TVs will be out in force tonight. Still a far cry from the big screen at home, but I’ll take it.
DVR isn’t the same and avoiding the game would be impossible (not that I ever could anyway)

My boyfriend was a hardcore Leafs fan when I met him. Now, he likes the Nucks more, and has a man-crush on the Sedins, thanks to me force feeding him every game I could. The annual Van/Tor games used to be tense. Now he realizes our win is almost a forgone conclusion.
Hockey: The best and most entertaining sport out there. PERIOD!

Line up looks good, and I like having a 4th line that features actual hockey players. Im just worried about Salo being able to handle top 2 minutes and Juice and Alberts being paired up, seeing as Alberts is super slow and Juice hasn’t been fast since he played up with the Sedins, and that pairing might get burned by fast forwards (Kopitar, I can’t think of anyone else).

So I am getting ready for the Allan Cup
and I am putting together a list of questions to ask players for our player profiles. I am doing a which do you like better type format for both players and goalies. For example:
Gordie Howe or Natural Hat Trick?
5 hole or back hand shelf?
Poke Check or Double stack?
Any suggestions you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
