awesome, I was looking forward to the update. While I think it will take us a little longer than next week to lock it down, it’s a good sign, and a win tonight will be huge. You have to think a Calgary loss to Detroit tonight will seal their fate.

Oh man I hope so, I effing hate the Flames and think they absolutely deserve to miss the playoffs based on their managerial maneuverings this season.
Also yeah, it will probably be a little more than a week for the Nucks. I was being facetious – though I wouldn’t complain if we run the table the next 6 games :)

With the exception of St. Louis (they don’t bug me too much), I will enjoy watching 9-15 plummet out of relevancy.
The best ending would be St. Louis knocking Detroit out and eeking into 7th to take on Chicago in the first round. Let those two teams kick the tar out of one another.

I’d love it if both Calgary and Detroit missed the playoffs.
Please allow me to adjust my pants, so that I may dance the good time dance, and lead the onlookers and innocent bystanders into a trance.
I want to see Detroit play Chicago in the first round. Get one of them out early. And I might regret this later but I would love to play an inexperienced Avs team in the first round.

Well, it’s pick-your-poison situation, I’d take the Avs too.
Lack of experience, relying on a rookie to lead your top line scoring is not ideal heading into the playoffs. I am worried about San Jose/ Detroit though. You can already see Detroit getting past SJ (after yet another melt-down), picking up momentum, and becoming a beast in the second round.
You know, just saying.

Yeah but I think Detroit is a team we match-up with fairly well. Better than Chicago or San Jose anyway.
