Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Looks like Mikael Samuelsson is out for some period of time with a shoulder injury, so grabs is up from the Moose. (Editorial note: Sammy is scheduled to have an MRI on his shoulder on Wednesday. Take a deep breath.) Jason Botchford has tweeted today that the shoulder is not separated.
Jordan Schroeder is in Vancouver to meet with the Canucks coaches and staff to figure out where to go from here. Team 1040 radio says that he's doing evaluation today, which I assume to mean fitness testing. Hard to see him getting added to the NHL roster at this point of the season and given his performance in NCAA so far this year, but he could be with the Moose in a matter of days.

Yikes. At least line 3 will have speed.

Knights, Canucks, Dolphins, Jays and Raptors all the way.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Speed Line back together (Ray/Kes/Grab).

Throw Hodg

in the middle on L3 after the OHL playoffs and I like it!

Of course by then Demo will be hurt again and Burr takes his place on L2 with Sam back with the twins.

Brainwave or brainfart (probably the latter)

Hey Sean…what do you think about trying Bieksa out as a forward again?

Gets SOB back in the lineup, and can give us some badly needed grit up front.

Knights, Canucks, Dolphins, Jays and Raptors all the way.

I don’t think so, he still needs to catch up on playing D first.

Sit Alberts, put in SOB.

Let’s see if Grabner can pick up where he left off last time. Actually, I just found out Prab Rai doesn’t have a contract with the Canucks, yet. Hmm…

I’ve posted a separate story about this on the main page if you want to pull the conversation over there.
