SF Area Canucks Meetups! Fear NO Fin

Three Canucks-Sharks games in 24 days is a perfect opportunity to meet Bay Area based Canucks Fans. First is the last regular season appearance of the Chokers in Vancouver on March 18, 2010. Next comes 9 days later on March 27, 2010 as the Canucks make their first appearance at the Tank since January 2009. The final opportunity arrives 12 days later with the Canucks' 81st and final regular season road game back in San Jose on April 8, 2010.

For the game on March 18, I suggest crashing the party @ Stanley's located on the 2nd level of Sharks Ice in San Jose (Corner of 10th and Alma). Wear your Canucks gear proudly.

For the games on March 27th and April 8th, I suggest the Britannia Arms in Downtown San Jose (located on Santa Clara Street between Almaden and San Pedro Streets) as it is within walking distance of HP Pavilion for those of you with tickets to the game. The Brit is also the best place to watch games when you can't get into the game as they boast double digit TVs, all widescreen, DirecTV HD and a subscription to NHL Centre Ice.

I can meet up for the April game as soon as I figure out how to get the hell down there from my office. Thankfully I have a few more weeks to figure that out

I’d be in Oakland that day so I’d have to figure out how from the East Bay. Though I guess I could pop over to the Embarcedero easy enough. Where does the Caltrain pick you up?

Caltrain can be picked up at 4th and king in San Francisco, or take BART all the way to millbrae (where BART ends) and there’s a caltrain station right there.

Ah ok. I like Richard from CHB will be there too. Vancouver better show up, I’ve only seen them lose four times in my life when I take in a game. It will put me in a foul mood if I have to see another one.

As it turns out...

I do not have a ticket to this game so i will be @ HP Pavilion by 9am and will wait all day if I have to.

I have tickets to the game on April 8th.
