A Playoff Date with Colorado, Nashville., or LA.
According to this site the Canucks are assured of a playoff spot and are heavily favoured to win the NW Division. We're now getting to the point that we can start thinking about possible playoff opponents.
We're basically looking at who is likely to be in the 6th spot. According to that site, the most likely teams to be there are Nashville, LA or Colorado. Even if by some chance Colorado beats us, they'd take 3rd, but then LA and Phoenix are likely to finish ahead of us in that event anyways, putting us back to 6th.
Out of the three, Colorado is most likely to be in the 6th spot, with LA next, and Nashville further back. Detroit is possible but unless they go on a tear, unlikely.

I think there is also a chance we could pass Chicago in the rankings…we could end up second overall in the west. Which increases the possibility of facing detroit in the first. Which is ok, really. The only teams I personally wouldnt want to see the Canucks face early are Anaheim and Calgary, cuz both would be hard hitting series, as I’ve mentioned before. Also it would be nice if Chicago got underdogged out in the first…even tho I’d REALLY love to see that series, dunno if my heart could take it.

I’d love to meet Calgary. Revenge for 2004.
Regrettably, Calgary isn’t going to make the playoffs so it can’t happen.
“Regrettably”.
Knights, Canucks, Dolphins, Jays and Raptors all the way.
