Demitra Should be Back on Thursday

PrintAccording to the coach of the Slovka Olympic team, Demitra is in Vancouver because of his wife's sickness. However, he's expected to join the team on Thursday.
If the report is accurate (and we have no reason to believe it not to), then we should see Demitra back very soon. Also, given the short absence, his wife's health problem is probably not very serious, which is good news.

I figure people want to know, especially given how much speculation his absence has created.
It’s probably because of all those sushi places on Robson. Whenever I visit, I can’t get enough of them.

There is a place in the strip mall by Safeway in Aldergrove. Best sushi ever. It sounds strange but Aldergrove is the place to go.

Don’t know about sushi, but last weekend before the Heat game, we found a really awesome pizza joint in Abbotsford. Ah Beetz makes some of the best thin crust pizza I’ve had.

There used to be a GREAT fish and chip place out in Chilliwack, or Sardis I never know which side is which, that served you the fish wrapped in Newspaper. Just like it’s supposed to be done. The food was incredible. Don’t know if it’s still there though. Or even what it is called.

Definitely the best sushi I’ve ever had, and good prices too. I hear the owner’s brother catches some of the fish for him, but that sounds too good to be true.
