Bieksa back practicing, Mitchell still out
Willie Mitchell is still out with a concussion and hasn't even skated yet, which is really bad news. Good to hear that Bieksa is back at it though, he will help solidify our blue-line post-Olympics.

Yeah I agree. I hope Mitchell gets back soon.

Rosterbating for fun
Bieksa/Shirokov/4th for Kaberle?
Knights, Canucks, Dolphins, Jays and Raptors all the way.
I’d probably do that. Bieksa would fit right in on the Leafs, so Burke might go for it. He’s loved Juice ever since he decked Fedor Fedorov in a bar fight in Manitoba.

Bieksa’s not that good. You’d have to bump that draft pick up to a 1st or 2nd

I would love that.
If Burkie would take such a deal.

Thanks Malkin, you dirty bastard.
Now drink with me deeply of the bourbon, scotch, and rye until such time as we are fighting drunk.

It’s not so much that it was a dirty play that rankles me. It’s that he was never properly punished, but the most important rankle is that we’ve lost Willie (and for how long?).

Is there any video of that hit at all? I have not found it.

I’m a little hesitant to call it dirty because I still have not seen it plus…and you are not going to like this…shit happens. How much time did Toews miss after Mitchell clocked him?
