Today's Quarter-Final Games:
U.S.A. vs Switzerland (12:00, Roger's Sportsnet) Go Swiss!
Canada vs Russia (16:30, CTV) More on that later.
Czech Republic vs Finland (19:00, TSN) Jagr playing? If not the Czechs be doomed.
Sweden vs Slovakia (21:00, CTV) Can Demo and the Slovaks pull off an upset?

Canada definitely didn’t help themselves having to wade through that right-side bracket in search of gold. Potentially have to beat Russia, Sweden then USA (part deux) for the grand prize.

Well this is balls to the wall time for Bobby Lu. After this tourney, he’s either going to have the national-hate-a-thon for life or glory. I see little middle ground opportunity. And I fear the fate of the Canucks for this season, perhaps longer, may be in the balance. But I’ll ride with Lu any day of the week with my head held high. Go Roberto! Go Canucks! Go Canada!
