How do you watch these events when the Olympics aren't on?
I’ve been curious about this for years. Does TSN and Sportsnet carry, say, moguls and short track speedskating during world cup events?

Softball. Although they took that out after the last olympics. Sweden beat the US last Olympics. Sweden isn’t terrible and has a chance at silver.
That was a massive upset though wasn’t it? The USA and Canada should be in the final once again? Both teams scoring in double digits and dominating. If there was only 3 guys in luge that had a chance to win and everyone else was 10 seconds behind I would say the same thing. Needs to go until the talent is there for a more balanced tournament.

The point is, they’re improving. They’re definitely improving, but the point I want to make is that the Four Nations Cup is a lot more competitive than it used to be. However, having this as an olympic sport is whole other story.

There’s an article on 4th place medal and everyone’s complaining about the author using ice resurfacer, instead of Zamboni.
Did you know that GM place is the only NHL arena to use Olympia? Or at least it was whenever that hockey trivia book I had was published, probably around the year 2000. I’m not sure why, though.
So I think that’s the reason we’re using them at the games, because they’re already being used in Vancouver and GM place probably has a deal that that’s the only one allowed to be used in them. Nothing to do with “cheap ripoffs” as a few ignorant people on the internet have been suggesting.
