Demitra Will Not Play Against Panthers
Demo will rejoin the team on Thursday for practice, but Alain Vigneault thinks it's highly unlikely he'll play against Florida. Damn. I guess that means that Samuelsson (only 1 goal and no assists in his last 5 games) will move back up to Line 2.

Sean, your passion for Demo is fun to see. Somebody around here needs to love the poor guy.
Knights, Canucks, Dolphins, Jays and Raptors all the way.
Oh no! I have no passion for Demo. I respect that he can bring some offence, but there is no passion!

In other news, Atlanta Thrashers fail. Colorado beats them in overtime despite being down 2 goals with 12 min left in the 3rd. So long for now, 1st in the northwest… hope to return soon.

and a freefall into 6th spot in the West. Yay! Maybe this will motivate the boys.

6th place and a potential playoff matchup with them stinkin’ Avs. We’ll light up Anderson like a christmas tree. Wooooo!!!!!!
Please allow me to adjust my pants, so that I may dance the good time dance, and lead the onlookers and innocent bystanders into a trance.
The way things are going right now, that extra road game would be our undoing, though.
We’ve had great success against the Avs this season though, so I wouldn’t mind a playoff matchup with them. They have too much youth to go anywhere in the playoffs anyways.

I wouldn’t underestimate the Avs

Mr. Yip continues to make me proud.
Oh look, hello 6th place.
"I was thinking it would be cool to see a game on the road. I have been looking all over this atlas but I don't see Vancouver anywhere. What state is this sh*t in!?"

Way past his prime. He was a cutie though.

I agree, that’s exactly what a lot of people said about the Hawks last season and look where we ended up (Not saying the Avs are nearly as strong but they’re formidable)
Or like they say in french: formidable!

I don’t understand why he can’t play if he’s with the team early enough to make practice. What’s the logic with that? He was a vital player in a last win. We should be pushing for him to be in the lineup if he’s healthy, which by all accounts he is.

So his wife had a bad reaction to medication apparently. I guess he’s flying meet the team right now and will get to Florida in time for the pre game skate. Who knows, maybe he’ll play in the end. If he doesn’t I don’t quite get it either. He won’t play because he’s tired? For $4 million I think he should play. In other words, suck it up. Or is that being insensitive?

I don’t know about others, but when I sit in an airplane for 5 hours straight, I am not tired, but rather sick of not being able to walk around. And if Pavol was somewhat stressed out because of his wife, being in the line-up would be the best medicine to take his mind off all those things.

Dang, I don’t know how to post a picture.
I had a picture of Tampa’s short-handed goal, showing that the player was clearly off-side, at least by about four feet, and the referee was right there, doing nothing.

Save the pic in Photoshop, then copy the direct link to it. Click on the little tree image thingy above and paste the url in there. Badda bing badda boom

Got it.
The only problem in this case is that the screenshot was not a jpeg file, so Photoshop could not accept it.
