What happens to the Moose if the Jets return to the 'peg?

                             Moosejets_medium

I really liked arby_18's post on the Moose the other day.   Glad to see the support they have in Manitoba, and glad to hear how exciting and promising the baby 'nucks are these days.  The success of the Moose, though, has led me to wonder... what would happen if the Jets returned to Winnipeg?  I would think the Moose would certainly have to move, because there just isn't another stadium around, and you can't have an NHL team share an arena with a rival's AHL affiliate, right?  And frankly, the 'peg aint big enough to support both an AHL and NHL team.

Possibilities off the top of my head:
1. Victoria. Do you think they can support 4000-8000 fans a game?  Metro Victoria is about twice the population of Metro Abbotsford on one hand, and Abbotsford has an AHL team, full of Calgary's lack of prospects.  But on the other hand, it's easier for folks from the Fraser Valley (and there are a lot of those, and it is a hotbed for hockey) to head to Abbotsford than it is for anyone from any other urban area to head to Victoria. On the other other hand,

this would make missy happy, and that is an important point to consider always.  On the other other other hand, missy's new boyfriend may not be too happy when she dumps him for the cuter Sweatt brother.
2. Seattle/Tacoma.  Are there enough hockey fans there or that can be created to fill 4000-8000 seats?  The Thunderbirds left KeyArena last year for a smaller stadium in the 'burbs, so KeyArena is currently without a hockey tenant and is a facility looking for a team.  Does the NHL want to put a team there eventually - in which case an AHL team might be a good start?  Seattle also has an advantage over Victoria in that it is far easier to get a player from Seattle to any NHL city than from Victoria, in case of emergency callup need.
3. Vancouver.  I think this makes the most sense, just like Toronto with the Marlies.  They could either share GM Place with the 'nucks, or share the Pac Coliseum with the Giants.  And with the Canucks perpetually selling out, and tickets costing an arm and a leg, I would think the city could easily support 4000-8000 fans, and probably more, at lower pricepoints, to watch the baby nucks.  The Giants get over 7000 a game.  I know I'd go with the current lineup the Moose have.  The Giants may not like this idea, though.

Thoughts?
