Wow, Lou. The Canucks played a lot more defensively against the Hawks tonight and when they faltered Roberto Luongo was there to bail them out. Great game by our team! How many times did Chelsea's Dagger play? None. Nadda. Zip. Zero. Great road game by the Canucks. I think we have been wanting Lou to steal a game and he did just that. Canucks were outshot 32-18. The crazy part about Luongo was that he seemed to abandon the engraved butterfly style for the way he played for us in 2007 or for the Panthers in the years before that. Well, at least in key moments anyway. Hey, whatever works. Lou was money tonight.
FTR Dan Hamhuis had 1 assist and had more ice time than any Canuck.
Daniel Sedin with 2 assists. I thought line 1 was mostly quiet.
Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook combined for a -4 rating. YAY!!!
