Elect a Canuck for Premier!

As most of you I'm sure know by now, the esteemed Premier of British Columbia, Mr. Gordon Campbell, will resign his office pending the selection of a new leader by the BC Liberal Party.  Which, for the record, continues the embarrassing trend of every elected Premier leaving office through resignation since 1975.  So that led me to think that perhaps all these politicians are full of poop.  And maybe it's time we give a Canuck a shot.  If the great Ken Dryden can become a successful politician on the national stage, why can't one of our beloved boys in white, green and blue, (or orange, yellow and black, or red, silver and blue, or white, green and blue for a second time) do the same in BC?

So I tried to come up with some potential candidates.  Obviously they'd have to be Canadian citizens.  And they have to still live in BC (at least to the best of my knowledge).  And I don't think it'd be good to elect a current roster player, since those boys do have far more important things to do than something as trivial as run the province.  (Although I'm sure the Honourable Premier Burrows could whip Victoria into shape.)

Without further ado, here are my proposed candidates:

Trevor, Stan, Harold, or Gino.  Or if you don't like those options, choose "Other" and post your write-in vote below. What say you, Nucks Misconduct?  Which of these fine gentlemen can lead us forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom?
