He's been ridiculously strong this season and almost pulled out the win in Buffalo but with "The Franchise" ahead of him I don't see any way that Cory Schneider's going to finish the season with us. The question is should Gillis ship him out before Xmas while he's hot or wait until the trade deadline at which point he should've had another 10-15 starts?
With Marty being 38, currently injured, and heading towards retirement I can see NJ as a likely new home for him. I'd like to see some more grit and a solid prospect head our way in return so maybe David Clarkson and Mattias Tedenby for Cory and Bieksa? I'm sure Lou wouldn't like to deal a good prospect like Tedenby but he's going to need a new #1 pretty damn quick.
Any thoughts?
