I think Morrison thinks he played well and can get a better deal and more ice time somewhere else. The Canucks are deep at centre unlike other teams such as Calgary and Toronto. He’d be a better fit somewhere else.

Yeah the twitter bitching is hilarious. Bmo did fine, but we have no space and I’m sure he doesn’t want a two-way deal. It’ll suck if he ends up in Calgary, but all the best.

Plus I read somewhere that AV didn’t like him playing wing. Therefore, he’d be a 4th line centre and there’s no way bmo is settling for that.

I think FLA was trying to get rid of salary and commitment, and took Bernier back as salary and less commitment. I don’t think this was a trade about talent for talent.
