Rypien Missed Sunday's Game With The "Flu"
Tip to rickyWrath at CDC for pointing this out.
From The Province:
The timing gets even stranger when you consider that Jannik Hansen wasn't actually scheduled to play Sunday's game and was a late insert to play centre -- not his usual position -- in the place of Rick Rypien. Asked why Rypien was scratched, the club said he had the flu. You may remember that the last time the team said Rypien had the "flu" (last October) he didn't get back into the lineup until the end of March.
Pure speculation, of course. But we'll know by Thursday.

Okay, hands up all those who believe that he has the flu. Anyone? Anyone?
Gotta fight those demons, Rypper. Good luck.
May I suggest surprising the demons with an unbelievably quick left and then pummeling the shit out of them from them on.
