Thrashers Sign Jason Krog
Thanks to Smoboy41 for finding this at Capgeek.com. The 34-year old Krog can tear it up at the AHL level, but not so much in the NHL.
Krog played only 4 games for the Canucks and registered 1 goal.
Great season in Manitoba this past year. Best of luck to the Fernie BC native.

Hope he gets to see some time in the bigs.
He was never going to get more than a cup of coffee with the Canucks.
Hey
Hi,
I frequently read your site. It’s nice. I think I had another account (kovy274hart) but forgot. Anyway, I blog for Battle of NY.
I’ve added ya to our links section and credited your site with the Krog signing.
I hope you’ll add us. We cover the Rangers, Devils, Islanders, Sabres and NHL.
Thanks,
Derek
Nevermind
Sorry. I didn’t even realize ya had us already. My bad. I apologize.
Nice signing today. Sammy should be a solid addition to Vancity. Keep up the good work!
Derek
No problem! The Devils sure are quiet the past few days, huh?

wow, I thought Krog had retired. I remembered when Milbury signed him to much fanfare after he went undrafted. His AHL stats are pretty wild compared to his time in the NHL.
Yeah, it’s a shame his size made so many teams pass on him. You’d think Vancouver (with Schroeder now) would have been more of a favorable home. But he’s got no chance at cracking our roster, hopefully Atlanta has a slot for him.

According to Sun Media, Jason Jaffrey has agreed to terms with Calgary. Goodbye Vancouver, hello Abbottsford.
I've seen enough to know that I've seen too much.
Nice for Abby, getting a “star” like Jaffray. :)
