Oilers will play Deslauriers in goal for both games against Flames

This is somewhat to be expected, considering the Oilers are eliminated from the playoffs. This could prove to be a bonus for the Flames.

Deslauriers has only played in 8 games this season. He has a 3-2 record, a 3.57 goals against average and a .889 save percentage. Comparitively, Dwayne Roloson has a 2.77 GAA and a .915 save percentage.

But hey, you never know. Deslauriers will be fighting to prove he belongs in the NHL. Let's hope he does just that and shuts those damned Flames down.

JDD sucks. Why the Oilers protected him and yet let Roli play 36 games in a row is a giant mystery? Mis-management to the extreme if you ask me.
JDD will get rocked on Friday, and we’ll see Roli Saturday night.

I don’t think so. MacT says JDD starts both. Hope your prediction is wrong

I hate the Edmonton Oilers.

That being said, do you think the Blue Jackets fans are happy tonight? I’d say so. Long-suffering fans finally got something to cheer about.

Long-suffering? They have no idea!

I just hope LA starts Yutaka Fukufuji.

Greatest name!
Not so sure he’s signed though. It’s Ersberg or Quick. Sorry…
