PrintIn about 2 hours time, the NHL Draft loterry, aka the John Tavares sweepstakes, will be commencing. I don't know about you, but I DO NOT WANT COLORADO TO GET HIM! God damn had enough of Sakic and then forseberg and then Hejduk and the other stars they get schooling the Canucks for the past 15 years. We do not need them to get another, nor do they deserve it. And for that matter, I hope the don't get Hedman either. So everyone pray for Colorado to be slotted 3rd or worse!
Let's also pray that the Islanders don't win him, because the kid deserves better than to be stuck in that shitshow franchise. Quite frankly I feel bad that he has to go to one of the bottom 5 teams this year. They're all awful, awful franchises. But none is worse than the Isle. So let him go to Tampa or LA or Atlanta.

Avalanche fans will be happy with either Tavares, Duchene or Kane.
Hedman was the guy we wanted, but that’s probably not going to happen
Hyphens cause writers more trouble than any other form of punctuation, except perhaps commas.

Hedman is a monster. I think I’d rather have him then Tavares, but that could be the Swedish thing all over again.

Had Tampa gotten the first pick, I would have suggested they take Hedman anyway. They’ve got enough flare up front, they could use Lidstrom-part-2.
