Canuck Fans In Houston TX?

I saw someone posted about Nuck fans in Indiana. How about Houston TX? I am thinking I have to be the only one. I also want to get some predictions from Nuck fans on the Sedin's. Even though the price is high could you see the  Nucks not signing them? I listen to the team 1040 on a regular basis to get the daily info and it sounds like the Canucks are moving towards signing them and dropping Matty Ohlund. Our offense at times is stagnent enough but could you imagine it without the Sedin's?

They are absolutely the most important signings of this summer. I believe that they will stay, and I think it would be crazy to even think of lettin em’ go. After all the growin pains, they are 2 of the tougher players to play against in the league. If you want an honest opinion of what they are, go check out some opposition blogs. Sedins are good players, and I hope and pray that Gillis realizes this.

I think it will come down to us signing them, yes. We’ll have money in the bank as I’m sure Sundin will bolt to the land of “I’m not sure if I want to play another season.”

And then decide to play for a random Canadian team midway through the season not called the Canucks or Maple Leafs.

I smell an absolute retirement from him without the drama

Depending on how far the Canucks go and his level of play he’ll either stay on for another year, at lower pay, or retire. The further the Canucks go and the better he plays the more likely he is to stay on. I don’t think he’ll switch teams again unless it’s for a game stint in Toronto as a farewell.

You may just be onto something there. It’s hard to read Sundin’s mind though.

Well, can you imagine Sundin playing in his 40’s? It will be neat to see him in Nucks’ uniform next year as well (minus the drama of course). That way, he can help build a winning culture as well as the chance to play for Sweden in the Winter Olympics.

We are all Canucks.

You are more optimistic than I am about Sundin playing here next year. I would welcome it though (except that his performance last night has me second-guessing)
