Question and Poll: What should Mike Gillis do at the Trade Deadline?
I'll voice my opinion and then you can share yours.
I don't know that the team needs a significant player to be added unless an injury occurs. High calibre players can be attained at a costly price. Meaning, a high draft pick and / or prospect is included in the deal. I don't think it's very wise to waste away high picks anymore unless you absolutely must - or somebody has faith in a prospect that you don't have.
Having said that, I would like to see someone like Mark Recchi come here. He won't cost you an arm and a leg, he has Cup - winning experience, he's a leader, and he's from BC.
Thoughts?

I gotta agree, just need someone cheap who knows how to win, and can teach AV a few things maybe.

Unless we move a defenseman , I don’t think we need a top four guy. We should never say no to another forward though. You could still send Raymond down or maybe sit the likes of Pudge or Hordichuk to squeeze another warm body in there.
If you use TFP’s list of guys, I’d be ecstatic with the likes of Hejduk, Staal or Upshall. A guy can dream…

You'd pass on Hejduk?
