Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

Shea Weber cranked Alexander Edler pretty hard. The way Edler skated off the ice I thought he injured his shoulder. That was not the case.
Obviously, Mathieu Schneider will slot back into the Canucks lineup.

Hopefully Schneider makes the most of the opportunity.

Glad we had the depth to absorb a short injury, although I’d rather have Edler in the lineup than Schneider any day!

Its all because Nashville is run by a bunch of cheap fuckers.

Like I wrote in my blog of the game, this is one of the few rinks with seamless glass anymore. They all had it, until they realized people were getting injured by glass that doesn’t give. Most spent the million or two it cost to put the better glass in. The increased cost in replacements because of broken pains should be a small price to pay…you would think.

Now its just the cheap rinks that have it.

The NHL should make that glass illegal…its the main cause of injuries in those rinks.

The earliest use of the word with the spelling we recognize today is found in "L'Acadie: or Seven Years' Exploration in British America" by James Edward Alexander, published in 1849:

We also met a lusty fellow in a forest road with a keg of whisky slung round him who called to us 'Come boys and have some grog, I'm what you call a canuck"
