Wicked Canucks Fans

As a Canucks fan, I felt pretty good after their 4-1 win over the Predators last night, which also gave them a spot in the top 8 in the Conference for the first time this season. But, it wasn't until I saw the following recap in the Vancouver Sun that I broke out laughing and couldn't stop:

"The Predators lost centre Jerred Smithson with a broken hand after he blocked a Salo shot in the first period"

Don't know why, but I really want to see Salo gun down many more opposing players. Is that wicked or what?

Are you a wicked Canucks fan? What wicked stuff do you like the most? Fess up.

I’d like to see Rypien fight Boogaard or Byfuglien and beat them up so badly, that he knocks out all their teeth and actually breaks their faces. Boogaard with a concussion from a beat down from Ripper is the first wicked thing that comes to my head.

Oh Yeah, Rypien fights top my list too.

#2: Kiprusoff doing the splits to stop a Kesler breakaway and he trashes his groin. Yeah! Perfect!
Is this what you were getting at javaball?

Well, so long as it wasn’t intentional…

Actually, on second thought, the Ohlund-chop on Koivu was pretty awesome. I don’t care how goony it was.

Ohly’s chop was definitely nasty. I think he was pissed that Koivu threw an elbow at his head, you can see it on the reverse angle.

I’d like to see Mitchell do the same hit he got on Toews on Kane…so clean that even the other team’s fans go…“nice hit”.

Or Ripper trashing Iginla on the 27th…

whichever…

The earliest use of the word with the spelling we recognize today is found in "L'Acadie: or Seven Years' Exploration in British America" by James Edward Alexander, published in 1849:

We also met a lusty fellow in a forest road with a keg of whisky slung round him who called to us 'Come boys and have some grog, I'm what you call a canuck"

YES! Mitchell cranking and KO-ing Kane would be a beautiful sight

Hey all Fan Post/FanShot posters:
do you want your post to reach a wider audience?
-use the tag and link section below your post in compose mode and be as descriptive as possible. Google loves that shit
-Promote your post to google and sport sites in the section below that.
It works. Trust me. I used the tags “green men at Canucks game” and many people saw it on the front page of their Google search.
Below is an example of the tag and link section for this post by javaball..

Thanks for the tip, Sean. I didn’t notice that stuff until now.
