Poor Detroit Red Wings. Do you remember when this was us?  That's an impressive list of impressive players out.  Also of note: check out who the player was who knocked Z-berg out with a punishing hit.  Hint: it's the all-time scoring leader for defencemen of a certain hockey team you may have heard of. 

In answer to my own question: I absolutely have no pity for the Wings.  They've had way more than their fair share of success over the past 15 years.  I will trade them every single player on our roster right now and every single future player we ever get for one of their stanley cup seasons.  And they still have Todd Bertuzzi to carry them through these rough times. Ha.
