That is about the equivalent of flying from Vancouver to Moscow (plus a few hundred kilometers) or, more than flying from Vancouver to Beijing.
I was just curious about the distance and figured I'd share my findings with you.

I think they’ve already improved it. Last season the Canucks would have had to fly home in the middle to play one home game and fly out again.
