Henrik Sedin/Ryan Johnson Updates

Gotta love Jason Botchford on Twitter. He is tweeting today that Ryan Johnson will play tomorrow night against the Wild, and that Henrik Sedin was not limping today.

Update: Michael Grabner will miss 6 weeks with a fractured ankle. (f****** soccer.)

Just picturing AV’s face when some sheepish player ran into the room…

“uhhh…coach, Mikey got hurt while we were warming up in the hall…fucked up and rolled his ankle..Billy is out there with him now, but it looks bad”

*AV’s left eye twitching slightly as a vein throbs at his temple *

“heyyyy, Schneids, didn’t you say you played a little forward in Montreal?”

cell phone out as he pushes #1 on the speed dial…“ummm Mike, are you sitting down?”

I hope Grabs is a quick healer. He was just getting into the swing of the NHL workload; I’d hate to see him take a giant step backwards.

No kidding Yankee he was just starting to look like the real deal. He must be crushed and such silly way for it to happen – damn kids always getting into something.

Watching guys like Ripper and Sammy get those sweet Kesler passes must rankle. But he should be positive when he comes back.

He has proven he can do it. Now he just needs to do it on an ongoing basis.

The earliest use of the word with the spelling we recognize today is found in "L'Acadie: or Seven Years' Exploration in British America" by James Edward Alexander, published in 1849:

We also met a lusty fellow in a forest road with a keg of whisky slung round him who called to us 'Come boys and have some grog, I'm what you call a canuck: ' a (Canadian).

As much as it hurts to see Grabs going down, Sammy, Kes and Raymond sure look sweet.
