It’s not ultimate payback unless it involves Pat Kane dying.

I really wanna see Phaneuf obliterate Kane. I hate Phaneuf about as much, but we don’t really have a guy that can demolish Kane’s face. Plus maybe Phaneuf would get suspended.

Cheeky devil Passive.
Depends…maybe in the last couple minutes…

We also met a lusty fellow in a forest road with a keg of whisky slung round him who called to us 'Come boys and have some grog, I'm what you call a canuck"
Yeah, gotta be if the game is in hand.

I think we all lost that one
Got our hopes up for a fight and instead was a sweet slow dance on the ice.
Chicagoan in the Lou.
The Hawks storm in for the first time and their chances are quality

Not bad…1st real pressure by the Hawks is half way thru the period…

that was an acceptable opening ten minutes
Against Chicago, imo.
I just hope Luuuu does let in a shitty one.

BYFUGLIEN is so goddamn enormous. It’s like watching a Peewee game where there’s one kid who hit puberty about 4 years before anyone else.

he played for the Prince George Cougars and that’s exactly how it looked!

I’m surprised you had Ozzie’s wanker out of your mouth long enough to say that ;)

He didnt play with an edge last year, this year he seems tougher out there. I think its not a huge difference, but still it makes him way more effective.
I don’t care. AV is great. You sound like a union douche to me. You’ve been had by a boss before haven’t you? It’s OK, you can be honest.
by Sean Zandberg on Nov 22, 2009 7:58 PM PST up reply actions
true
so how cum AV gets a pass?
I said the same about Crow with the Sedins, the never got a fair shake with him.
Oh ok. So at least you’re being fair. I thought you only hated AV.

Now that was some nice penalty killing…no panic, and good puck pressure…
Carry on…

Have to say dude…love the moniker…most hilarious Sedin related one EVER…
That pic with Brash and the Wonder Twins is a little disturbing though…looks like the strong man at the circus with the Twins just happy they got cotton candy today…

Well…was a pretty nice Niemi save under pressure there.
Daniel looks pretty good so far…
12-6 I think they said the shots were…just need to convert one of those chances…

So looking like a hobo scores you Willa Ford. Hang on, I gotta write that down.
I've seen enough to know that I've seen too much.
But you can’t have a hobo wallet. Money makes up for many grooming issues. :)

You are so wise, Baroque. that’s why I <3 you. lol

Nice conversation by the Sportsnet desk. The Hawks are fukt this summer with those RFA’s. Worst thing is that they have Brian Campbell signed through 2016 at over $7 million per season. How the hell are they ever going to flog that douchebag when he’s sucking?
holy shit..yeah that’s true. Crazy. They have fukt themselves

Hey all, how'r things going?
There ain't no turning back when our train is off its track, and there's nothing we can do but watch it crash (watch it crash)
And there ain't no right and wrong when we know it won't be long, and there's nothing we can do but watch it crash

How great would it be to see Kane get hit like Toews did last game? By Mitchell to boot. Just the thought makes me smile.
hello boys.
no need to recap for me, i’ve seen everything. i’d give the win to eager for that fight with rypper. lots of crazy good chances, but no one seems to be capitalizing.
i mean no harm. i come in peace. unlike shane o'brien or kevin bieksa........
watch out for the Rypper too, he can whip anyone.......
GO CANUCKS GO!
Comically, I had that thought a few times…

Eager reminds me of Mike Madesow (sp.)…the poker player.
Talented, somewhat, but has the blow up…looks like we might get the PP if Shorty was right.

So, if both go to the end 0-0, and the game is decided by S/O, do both get shut outs?

Yes.
Last month my fantasy team hit a guy who had both Nabby and Bryz, they went into OT 0-0 and he got two shutouts. I was pissed.
Chicagoan in the Lou.
I still think the shootout should count as one goal against the goalie who loses, regardless of how many shots he let in.
Then again, compared to the stupid extra point, it’s pretty small in the stupid department to give both goalies a shutout.
...loving life for Christ's glory...
I still think they should go to 5:00 3 on 3 after the 5:00 4 on 4 and abolish the shootout

ugh..waiting for the management-hater to chime in!

It was kind of a blessing in disguise because of all the key injuries in the first quarter.
But obviously could be much better.
well, the Canucks were supposed to suck after the last long layoff but what did they do? They handed Colorado their asses! I’m only speaking from an annoyed fan perspective because I have to wait 4 days until the next game.
by Sean Zandberg on Nov 22, 2009 9:05 PM PST up reply actions
That
would be the only positive, if it were to break Lu’s bad habit of needing two weeks to start playing like he can, but knowing he has that habit makes the sched even worse.
except he hasn’t been all that bad either!

fuck you, schedule-makers.

Yeah, it will be a good shutout for Niemi if he gets it. I think the Nucks are gonna carry the play the rest of the way.
I credit the team in front of him too. But yeah..Niemi has been solid.

Edler deserved better there!
Shit!
Go Canucks Go!!

Hawks got a lucky win on a lucky goal.
Canucks deserved better, but Niemi was good.
But any Hawks fans thinking they won anything are misguided…
They just got lucky.
Ah well…good game…

Hawks just won the game, so they won something
If luck gives us 2 points, I’ll take luck.
Chicagoan in the Lou.
Yep. Thanks for being a good spot, Mike.

I came over to point out how scared shitless I was most of the 3rd period
That attack was non-stop, and everytime I heard “Sedin” I froze up.
But comments like that annoy me, and needed a reply.
See you folks 1/23/10! :)
Chicagoan in the Lou.
Bah, good game. Hawks deserve there props, I didnt think they could win like this. AV can’t be to upset with this one.
Can't call that domination
by any stretch. If Niemi is having an average night, we lose. Not many nights we are going to win a one goal game against you guys.
Can someone explain to me
why they keep going back to the Well?
The guy was invisible again, and yet got 1:40 of PP time to Hansen and Raymond’s 20 seconds? Burnyea got the same as Wellfed.
I watched the last half of that game and I didn’t realize Wellfed was even playing. Invisible? That doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Problem is
Nucks don’t have anyone capable of playing 3rd line centre.
Well they do, but he’s in Brampton for the year.
Maybe when demo comes back…
