"There are certainly some issues that the league needs to take control off when players' names are being thrown around. You're talking about lives and families and those things need to be kept confidential when you may be discussing a transaction of some type. There was a mention of player's names, which was very upsetting for them, and it doesn't make me feel very good."

is so concerned about it, why is he publicly giving credibility to something that was no more than rumour without him doing so?
He’s basically just come out and said “yes we did try to trade those players, why did you have to tell?”.
Yeah, that is more or less what I’m getting out of it too.

Well that’s what I thought it was originally about, but obviously not. He’s talking about transactions, not poaching.
