I didn't expect that many submissions. It was pretty exciting to go through them."In case you're wondering which mask that was:
Sanford claimed to know little of the winner's identity other than it is someone named Kirk.
"It was a sketch and it caught my eye right off the start," Sanford said of the victorious entry. "It's pretty nice. I thought the contest was a pretty good idea and I'm glad everyone in Vancouver thought so, too.
"The target is to have it ready for the start of training camp."
